Grace Exhibition Space is proud to present “Nomadic Patterns of Kinship” with live action performances by Sinéad O’donell and Kelly Pinho.
Sinéad O’donell explores identity through immediate and mediated encounters with territories and the territorial. O’donell’s performance practice is nomadic and travel has broadened’s her cultural perceptions, influencing her artistic sensibilities regarding time and space. Sinéad O’donell is Grace Exhibition Space’s featured visiting artist from Northern Ireland.
Kelly Pinho addresses the myths and media manipulation that devalue the female experience in regards to love. Pinho often uses a system of repetitive movements and sound installation in her work, incorporating elements of common archetypes prevalent in world literature and folklore.
