An exhibition of artist books recording the daily cavalcade of strangers and their parts in New York City and beyond. The work illuminates both the vibrancy and decay of contemporary urban life.
The bleating of cell-phone-fingers, devices as extensions of the body, fleeting scraps of life, ephemeral glimpses of dream watchers, and melting pots.
The books will be displayed in the two large foyer cases in the main lobby entrance.
Opening Reception: Thursday, June 7, 2012 6 – 8 PM (Dweck Center Lobby, lower level)
