A group exhibit of 15 artists inspired by maps and cartography. Through a combination of personal narrative and cultural theory, the 15 artists in the exhibition ANYWHERE BUT HERE interpret their experiences in and of the world in spiritual, philosophical, and geographical terms. Imagery, sculptural objects and mixed media artworks are suggestive of maps and cartography, and are imbued with feelings of longing, disorientation, and wonderment. Curated by Elizabeth Saperstein and Susan Nathenson. Featured artists include: Tomoko Abe, Doug Beube, David Bligh, Andras Borocz, Lisa Corinne Davis, Dahlia Elsayed, George Ferrandi, Katarina Jerinic, Cal Lane, Marc Petrovic, Nikki Rosato, Viviane Rombaldi-Seppey, Sarah G. Sharp, Robbin Ami Silverberg, and John Williams.
