New York, NY – How do you fight loneliness, isolation and seclusion? A Muzzle of Bees, a group exhibition of fourteen artists, proposes some thoughts and ideas for survival.
The exhibition includes paintings, drawings and sculpture by Hannah Ault and Thomas Callahan, Lisha Bai, Tom Brauer, Rachel Frank, Rashawn Griffin, David Guinann, David Herbert, Eliza Newman-Saul, Nathan Redwood, Lee Roberts, Dasha Shishkin, Nik Vlahos, and Karla Wozniak. The work depicts the black moment after a great loss and the suits of armor we fabricate to survive. But the wry thread that ties A Muzzle of Bees together is how these artists see our time. This group knows the world is being irreparably damaged, and they’ve chosen to go out with a blast!
