For one week only, The Shining Mantis brings their mortal combat to the interior walls of Cuchifritos Gallery and Project Space on the Lower East Side.
On view until Saturday, October 3rd, with a closing reception in the afternoon from 4-6pm.
The Shining Mantis is a Brooklyn-based collaboration of Mike Estabrook and Ernest Concepcion. The primary work done by the duo are the legendary battle drawings known simply as “Kangarok,” a fusion of the unnamable presence of the Mephistophelic Kangaroo, and Ragnarok, the Nordic apocalypse.
