The Union Gallery is pleased to present the inaugural group exhibition of gallery artists at our new 4,000 square foot space located at 359 Broadway.

Still in Tribeca, we have moved a couple of blocks south of our original space at 62 Walker Street.

Artists include:

Adam Distenfeld Brad Darcy Manuela Viera-Gallo Josey Hale Aimee Lusty Emily Noelle Lambert Pei-Yu Lai, MaryKate Maher Scott Meyers Devin Powers Evan Ryer Miljan Suknovic German Tagle Kristof Wickman

The 359 Broadway building has a rich history. Originally built in 1853, the space was once the studio and home of the great American photographer Mathew Brady. The ground floor currently occupied by the Union Gallery was originally Thompson’s Saloon, frequented by literary and artistic luminaries such as Walt Whitman. The building is also the former location of many galleries and art events including Leo Koenig Gallery, Canada Gallery, and studio of our founder John Peet. It is also well known as the location of other experiments in contemporary art including the site for the recently released documentary “We Live in Public.”

The Union Gallery will offer many new programs and opportunities for artists and curators alike. We remain open to curatorial submissions and will continue to show a wide array of contemporary artists and work.
