For centuries, artists have used animals to convey various aspects of the human condition. For some, it is more interesting to portray narratives of identity, betrayal and faith using creatures in the hopes of provoking a more imaginative aesthetic. The idealistic beast conveys human emotion in a way that elevates it to another level. Animals do not understand the concept of reason or betrayal and therefore exist on a purer plain which has fascinated and endeared mankind from the beginning of time.
