The Halls at Bowling Green presents Untitled featureing the work of photographers Jimmy Fountain and Catherine Kunkemueller, organized by Erin Riley-Lopez

Both use form and geometry to capture a kind of emptiness in the human world. Fountain tends to explore contemporary American culture, often with a rural or slightly archaic cast that warms his images, while Kunkemueller is more concerned with the purity, almost the monumentality of form in quotidian subjects.

In both cases, without pretension the overlooked, the forgotten, the mundane command and reward the eye.
