Christopher Robbins has consulted with residents of Sunset Park about repairs needed in their neighborhood. Under the auspices of his project WPA2010, he will hire workers from the neighborhood to fill a pothole outside 36th Street Station, thereby creating a unique object in the Marian Spore collection.
Joe Winter will reveal a new installation of his ongoing project at Marian Spore, ‘Models for a History of Light.’ For this work, Winter creates beautiful abstract photograms using ordinary construction paper exposed to light over long periods of time.
