Technology has had a habit of transforming language. “Hello” was invented as a greeting for the telephone. Automobiles have peppered our language with various expressions, and of course, computers and the internet have caused their fair share of change to modern language.

-How has technology affected language – the way we communicate and the way we understand each other? -How can language have an effect on technology? -Programming languages are invaluable but are not understood by nearly as many people that profit from it daily. What is the relationship between this text and the general public? For those who are not immersed in coding, what does machine language look like?
