Maccarone presents the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts & Law Residency Exhibition.
This exhibition is the culmination of the 2010 Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts Art & Law Residency Program. As legal and judicial issues now permeate every aspect of social, political and cultural life, artistic production is no longer immune. The Art & Law Residency provides an intellectual and artistic setting for participants to engage in ongoing discussions and debates that examine the overlap and disconnect between artistic production and the law from historical, social, ethical and intellectual standpoints. The exhibition is a collaboration between Maccarone and Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts.
