After five years on 10th Avenue, Morgan Lehman Gallery has expanded to a 2,000 square foot space at 535 West 22nd Street. To celebrate this transition, we are pleased to present Opening Ceremony, an inaugural exhibition that will showcase new work by each of the eighteen artists we represent.

According to gallery owner Jay Lehman, “We have long standing relationships with many of the artists we represent, and we have also taken this opportunity to add some very interesting new artists to our roster. The best way that I see to inaugurate the new space, and to get all the artists excited about their upcoming shows is with a group show that highlights all of their incredible talents .”

In the coming year, the gallery will present eight ambitiously scaled solo shows as well as launch our new project space called “The Study”. The broad mission of “The Study” is to introduce artists who have never been shown in New York before, present site specific installations, and showcase the talents of invited visiting curators.
