Art for Tibet II: A Celebration of Art, Culture, and Resistance
For the second-annual Art for Tibet, more than 150 acclaimed artists will exhibit art works in support of the Tibetan freedom struggle and persecuted artists. A group of renowned contemporary Tibetan and international artists have generously donated to this benefit event and art auction, including Shepard Fairey, Richard Gere, Tenzing Rigdol, Gonkar Gyatso, Pema Rinzin, John Peet, David Ellis, Kenji Hirata and many more.
Audiences in the New York area can view the exhibit from September 21-25 at Union Gallery Annex 353 Broadway (b/w Franklin & Leonard) New York, NY 10013 Gallery Hours: Sept 21st – Sept 25th (noon – 5pm)

The Art for Tibet exhibit opens with a panel discussion followed by a reception on Tuesday, September 21st at 5pm sponsored by Dogfish Head Ale.
The Silent Auction will conclude with the second annual Art for Tibet benefit event on Saturday, September 25th from 5pm – 10pm Join us for DJ sets, live painting performances, and drinks throughout the night sponsored by Beerlao.
