Excerpts From Happyland is a buoyant new series of wall constructions created by Dan Bleier. His latest exhibition is composed of unique shapes of resin on wood, a departure from earlier structured works. Bleier’s new forms are slick, vividly colored, and hover off the walls in a visionary expression of time, memory, and space. Using his trademark geometric undertones and sublime color combinations, Dan Bleier’s new work retains the simplicity of past minimalist constructions with a lightness informed by his earlier paintings.
Dan Bleier lives and works in New York City. He has exhibited nationally, including solo shows at Beth Urdang Gallery in Boston and Palette Contemporary in New Mexico.
