Marian Spore presents an exhibition of new works by Marina Zurkow, and Luxemboug-based artist The Plug.

Marina Zurkow’s new video work (pictured) was commissioned for Marian Spore thanks to our generous community of supporters, who helped us achieve our fundraising goal this past summer. Part of Zurkow’s ‘Paradoxical Sleep’ series, the video installation offers an unsettling vision of Marian Spore and its environs submerged in languid floodwaters.

In Luxembourg-based artist The Plug will present a new sculptural installation, ‘The Best Little Secrets Are Kept (Hooliganism)’, in which cryptic symbols are punched into light-filled metal lockers. This work is made possible by the Ministry of Culture in Luxembourg.
