The Educational Alliance presents the group exhibition Upcycled, featuring Olivia Kaufman-Rovira, Bernard Klevickas, Barbara Lubliner, Shari Mendelson, Janet Nolan, Ilene Sunshine, and Tyrome Tripoli.

The exhibit brings awareness to plastic byproducts of consumerism. Plastic waste has become a new “natural” resource for artists. This exhibit features artists who harvest plastic detritus and transform it into drawing, sculpture, and installation. The plastic is upcycled or converted from waste into art. The curator brings together accomplished artists whose work first engages aesthetic appreciation, then yields to the recognition that it is formed of trash. A digital catalog will be available for download. Curated by Barbara Lubliner
