Guild Gallery II is pleased to present a new group show called Inanimate Pictures. The third in series at the Guild exploring many different facets of the art of still life, this exhibit contains varied, quirky examples of subjects which are man-made, expanding on previous exhibits which focused on food and botanicals. The subjects of the work in the current exhibit include clothing, tools, furniture, containers, decorations, and recreational objects (such as toys, books, sports equipment, etc.) – a list which encompasses practically every conceivable man-made object other than vehicles buildings.
The paintings, drawings, photographs and sculpture in the exhibit were created by Denise Adler, Fran Beallor, Jude Broughan, Susan Cohen, Erik Dalzen, Melissa Eder, Julian Hsiung, Kiyoshi Ike, Frances Kuehn, Lily and Honglei, Tommy Mintz, Brett Mohr, Douglas Newton, Deniz Ozuygur, Larry Schulte, Jolie Stahl, John Tebeau and Ben Valentine
