Cuban-born Liset Castillo lives and works in Amsterdam. She is a graduate of the Higher Institute of Art in Havana, Cuba, and attended “de Ateliers,” a two-year international artists’ program in Amsterdam, sponsored by the Dutch Ministry of Culture. Castillo is a recipient of two American awards: a John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Fellowship and an Oscar B. Cintas Fellowship.
