Color Series #3 is the third version of a multi-segmented experiment within a print making process in which half-tone images are randomly layered on top of each-other. Through the use of primary process colors: Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow, a multitude of colors and tones are created.

Color Series #3 takes the painted surface of the previous Series 1 and 2 and further abstracts the design through the folding of the painted sheets of paper into pixel like boxes and their assemblage onto a woven net. This process of creating “pixel” boxes makes the surface three dimensional and adds to the different scales of the work, from far away the net appears as a gradient wash of color but, as the viewer gets closer the pixels become more evident until the dot patterns on the pixels themselves can be seen.
