Stephany Cardet is a New York based artist using alternative processing and photo techniques to create abstract portraits of perception. Often abandoning her camera, Stephany uses her body, chemistry, and light to create images of depth, abstracting human forms that subtly appear underneath layers of textural surface. Although a photographer by trade, Stephany’s work is part photography, part performance, part painting, and part object.
