The Auction Preview Exhibition highlights the broad range of work made by some of the most exciting established and cutting edge artists in the contemporary glass world. All of the artwork will be available for viewing and bidding online and auctioned at UrbanGlass’ premier fundraiser, Fête de Verre,on April 16th. The funds raised will help support UrbanGlass, the world’s first artist-access glass center in the country.

The exhibition was juried by Jane Adlin, Associate Curator, Metropolitan Museum of Art; Katya Heller, Heller Gallery; David McFadden, Chief Curator and Vice President, Museum of Arts and Design; and Claire Oliver, Claire OliverGallery.

The exhibition will take place at Chashama, a non-profit art space located in Manhattan that supports creativity in New York City by re-purposing vacant properties, recycling them as artist work and show spaces, while simultaneously invigorating the surrounding community.
