Sharp gestures and brash palettes scratch a kind of wretched beauty out of a scene of rawness and desperation. Murals painted on large sheets of industrial Tyvek® HomeWrap® are accompanied by reptilian-like “Inspectors” that cling to ceilings, boasting grotesquely mis-proportioned appendages, and serving as perverse caricatures of the blunt instruments of power.

A conversation with the artist led by Allen Frame will take place on Saturday 4/23 from 6-7 pm.
