Gary Kuehn has been making art for more than 40 years. Evoking a sense of trapped sensuality, his work suggests sound, the echo’s return and the consequent emotiveness.
Kuehn was born in Plainfield, New Jersey in 1939. He received a B.A. in art history from Drew University and an M.F.A from Rutgers University. His works have been shown in several exhibitions since the sixties. Early on his work was included in the exhibit When Attitudes Become Form, curated by Harald Szeeman in Bern, Switzerland. Kuehn lives and works in New York.
