For this exhibition, British artist Tim Knowles presents three projects (in a variety of media) that investigate elements of chance and randomness in nature. His series of Tree Drawings uses the tree as an active participant in the creative process, recording their natural motions in the wind, as well as moments of stillness. Also on view are two projects that explore seed dispersal and reference the long history of environmental activism, stretching from the Diggers movement in 17th Century England to the community gardening movements of 1970s New York City.
