Splatterpool is pleased to present “My Spring Fling Turned Into My Summer Dream”, a group exhibition of pairs curated by J. Morrison.

The opening will celebrate the first successful year of the Splatterpool artspace, and will include artists from both the Splatterpool exhibitions and J. Morrison’s curatorial project, SPACE IS THE PLACE.

This show is a continuation of J. Morrison’s curated show from 2010, “A Midsummer Night’s Wet Dream” held at SPACE IS THE PLACE. Playing off the dualities of the seasons (Sexy Spring to Summer Fuck), the exhibition will present pairs of objects that go together. Each artist was asked for two artworks that were not necessarily created as a couplet, but formed a statement when placed in juxtaposition.

The exhibition will present a wide range of media including paintings, sculpture, photographs, prints and drawings.
