Dirty Looks and Little Joe magazine are teaming up for:

Frank Ripploh’s Taxi Zum Klo (Taxi to the Toilet) 1980 Introduced by queer film scholar Ronald Gregg

Taxi Zum Klo is an experimental autobiography, a feature document of gay life in 1980s West Berlin. Frank, a public school teacher by day, trolls the toilets at night in search of tearoom trade. When he falls for Bernd, trouble ensues as Frank’s libidinal behavior conflicts with Bernd’s more traditional views on co…upling. Still shocking in its frank portrayal of sexual subculture, Taxi was heralded as “the first masterpiece about the mainstream of male gay life” by the Village Voice.

Dirty Looks is a monthly platform for queer experimental film and video curated by Bradford Nordeen.

Little Joe is a magazine about queers and cinema, mostly.

The event will serve as the New York launch for Little Joe – No. 2 with copies on sale before the screening!
