Van der Pool’s realism is clean depicting expertly drawn oil lamps that are dramatically painted and literally emit light with warm orange glows against deep dark backgrounds.

Ann Woodward’s collage pieces are intricately drawn, painted and pasted and give us a light, airy fancy free feeling.

Both are strong accomplished artists and come together here in contrast.
