BUSHWICK-Norte Maar is pleased to present SO HAPPY TOGETHER: forty-five artists and their one hundred collaborative drawings a special exhibition celebrating the collaborative spirit and BUSHWICK OPEN STUDIOS. An opening reception + silent auction will be held Friday, June 3, 6-9PM at Norte Maar (83 Wyckoff Avenue, #1B, Brooklyn). Over the course of nine weeks this winter, a group of artists met every Wednesday night for collaborative drawing. Organized by artist JULIE TORRES, these five hour sessions, framed as informal “Drink ‘n Draw” gatherings, resulted in an exciting and experimental collection of drawings, paintings, collages and cut-outs.

SO HAPPY TOGETHER is an exhibition of their individual talents, their collaborative efforts, and their community spirit. An opening reception will be held Friday, June 3rd, 6-9PM and will feature a silent auction to benefit the collaborative projects of Norte Maar. Exhibition and auction will continue as a feature of the Bushwick Open Studios, Saturday and Sunday, June 4th and June 5th, 11-7pm.
