Illuminated metropolis is pleased to present “Fashion is for Ugly People”, based on “A perfect fit” a Jenna Weissman Joselit’s essay about clothing and history.

The idea of the show is how Fashion offer man and women a way of fitting into culture, eliding class prejudice, and advertising their own moral and spiritual health. This exhibition puts together works from different artists working with different media, that relates with fashion and history in an anthropological and sociological way.
