Umbrella Arts presents an ever-changing salon style exhibition open to all artists in any media.

Using the theme ‘fans on facebook’, the gallery is spending the summer opening its doors to artists who support us throughout the year. From seasonal expressionists to year round realists, we want to see the colors, styles and shapes of artist’s art off the pages of the Internet and on the walls of our gallery.

The exhibition will include works by established and emerging artists and each piece will be a curatorial surprise. Umbrella Arts is developing an online gallery of the show by photographing and posting each participating artist with their included works.

A series of exhibit mixers for artists, friends and press, hosted by Umbrella Arts will begin with the Opening Mixer on July 8, 6 – 9PM. Exhibit mixers will continue throughout July & August and will be announced on Facebook.

Mary Ann Fahey and Margaret Bodell have introduced many new artists to the New York art world, and work to expand the traditional notion of an art exhibition by using it as a vehicle for creating community and promoting social change.
