Complementing the sparkling multimedia works currently on display, the closing party for the ongoing installation show “Inflorescence of Sparkling Evil” will feature performances by Rachel Mason and Little Band of Sailors, Viktor Longo, Maya Jefferies, and Alias Pail. The evening will blend avant-garde experimentation with more traditional performances, and close with a mix-tape dance party featuring music that ranges from Austra and John Maus, to weird orchestral compositions and forgotten post-punk classics. Against an installation backdrop resembling humanoid refuse, the night will play upon the theme of primitivism within a technologically advanced society, which is what the show “Inflorescence of Sparkling Evil” is designed to portray.
