High Line Art, presented by Friends of the High Line, announces the beginning of its public art season for Fall, 2011 with Charles Mary Kubricht’s “Alive-nesses: Proposal for Adaptation,” an installation painted on park storage containers located on the High Line at the Rail Yards, the final stretch of the historic elevated railroad that remains closed to the public and overgrown with wildflowers and grasses. The High Line at the Rail Yards is located between West 30th and West 34th Streets, and the installation will be on view from the northern end of the park, near West 30th Street.
