Taking Shape StandPipe Gallery, 150 W. 25th St. in Chelsea, announces the opening of Taking Shape, a group show of recent work by thirteen New York-based artists. Curated by Christopher Schade and Zoe Pettijohn Schade, the exhibition features work that explores the complex interdependency between figuration and abstraction. Artists included in the exhibition are James Bills, Alec Dartley, Peter Dudek, Raymond Dumas, Douglas Goldberg, Sue Havens, Sara Klar, Michael Lee, Elisa Lendvay, Abraham McNally, Christopher Saunders, Zoe Pettijohn Schade, Christopher Schade. The show runs from October 13 to October 29. An opening exhibition will be held Wednesday, October 12, from 6 – 8 PM.
