Gerald Peters Gallery is pleased to be presenting Doris Downes, The Death of Medea by Belladonna While Dreaming of Orchids; an exhibition featuring approximately 33 works in oil, gouache and monoprints. The artist explores the myth of Medea using images of natural history and figurative works as a narrative in correcting the perception of one of the great sorceresses of the ancient world.
