ICONOMANCY is a group exhibition of fourteen artists who have studied at the New York Academy of Art and are now impacting the contemporary art world. As the title would suggest, for each of these artists there is some magic involved. Deeply invested in understanding the complexities of visual culture and transforming that culture through the alchemy of their own work, they cast a spell through technical and formal mastery that leaves the audience mesmerized by their talent and enchanted by their intuitive prowess with both the subject and materials.
