Manhattan Graphics Center celebrates the life and art of Joseph A. Osina, a founding artist member and an outstanding printmaker, painter, book artist, enamelist and professional conservator.

A native New Yorker, Joseph Osina was best known as a printmaker, book artist, conservator, painter and enamelist. His prints and books have been exhibited in Europe and the United States of America and are included in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Museum of the City of New York.

He was a founding member and teacher at Manhattan Graphics Center, and also taught at Studio on the Square and the Craft Students’ League. For many years he was a conservator at the New York Public Library where he worked on a variety of rare and important historical documents and works of art on paper.

Joseph became interested in enameling while at the Craft Students’ League and was a Board member of the Enamel Guild North East USA.
