Our next exhibition at the gallery will be David Ellis, True Value. This will be the artist’s inaugural solo exhibition with Joshua Liner Gallery.

David Ellis channels his love for music into a variety of art genres and media, including painting, sculpture, and video installation. The artist’s kinetic sound sculpture True Value (Paint Fukette)-a large installation created in collaboration with Roberto Lange-was an acclaimed presentation at the recent PULSE New York art fair, winning the 2011 PULSE Prize.

This will be an opportunity for those who did not see True Value at the Pulse fair this past March. The exhibit will also include the artist’s signature “motion paintings” which chronicle the creation of large mural works in time-lapse digital video, new sculptural works as well as new paintings on both panel and tobacco stained paper.
