Spanning the gallery’s two main spaces, this major museum-like exhibition features a seminal overview of On Kawara’s date paintings (commonly known as the Today Series),with a comprehensive selection of works painted in New York to appear alongside more than a hundred paintings executed in other cities around the world. Many of the works will be exhibited for the first time, and include loans from international collections.
