T.A.G. (Teen Art Gallery) is an organization run by teens, dedicated to displaying artwork made by youths in galleries across the world. The founder of the organization, Audrey Banks, currently a senior in high school, started T.A.G. in 2010 in New York. Thirteen high school students form the New York City T.A.G. branch. T.A.G. recently became an international organization. T.A.G. branches outside of New York City include T.A.G. Germany and T.A.G. Florence.
T.A.G is currently preparing for their March 29th, 2012 show, a charity event hosted under the Unseen Artists Spring event at the Rogue Gallery in Chelsea. Whereas the first exhibition was restricted to just New York City area teens, the March 29th show reaches out to youths on a national level. The show features thirty of America’s most talented and dedicated young artists, carefully selected from a pool of two thousand applicants. With the theme as “Think Spring,” expect to find a mash of nudes and warmly colored photographs, as well as sculpture, film, music, installation, and performance art. Proceeds go to NYC Kids ARTS Organization. Tickets can be purchased at
