Filiaci’s ‘poems’ lure us into her world—suffused with color, mystery, suggestion; do we hear music too?

Filiaci has exhibited extensively in Europe and the US. She was born in Vicenza, spent some years in Nigeria and then came to New York where she earned a BFA from The School of Visual Arts. Her credits include curating at the Parallel Window NY 1979 – 1988, designing the sets and costumes for La Mama Theatre E.T.C. and teaching at the NYU program in Venice.
