Out of this body is an interactive video installation and new photographs by Lana Z Caplan comprised of moments living in extreme sensation. The spiritual, metaphysical, artistic search for transcendence while traveling through chaos; in mourning and in ecstasy, performing rituals, succumbing to music in dance, altering states of perception and lucid dreaming. These are moments we feel and absorb, the events that mark the passage of time and shape our memories, memories as unreliable as dreams, relational and constantly shifting by their context.
