Theme:BLACK & WHITE
Ouchi Gallery presents a call for artists to participate in the fifth “100 Artist Exhibition,” a group exhibition founded with the hope of bringing together artists from around the world to New York City.
The exhibition’s theme is “Black & White,” a color combination hard to find in nature yet ubiquitous in our lives. Much more than color, black & white is often presented as a choice. It expresses ideas that are seemingly in opposition: good & evil, life & death, love & hate, peace & war, addition & subtraction, man & woman, and all the rest. However, through the artists’ choice between these polarities, “Black & White,” the space unimaginable in between can be brought to the foreground. For artists who wish to further their activities on an international level, this group exhibition is the next step. Sharing between both professional and amateur artists alike in a collaborative process, this exhibition enables us to achieve what would not be possible alone. Ouchi Gallery is offering the artistic space to do just that.
