Able Fine Art NY Gallery is pleased to present the works of artists Sara Conca and Chung. This exhibition will expose each artist’s personal take on reality. Through the liberation of the senses, both artists have embarked on a careful spiritual introspection. As a result their vision translates with a unique touch, one where beauty and harmony are unquestionable glorified protagonists.
Conca has taken definite steps towards the world of modern abstract expressionism, mostly as a self-taught artist. Her innovative work is freely guided by the senses so that movement and energy, achieved through the manipulation of her medium of choice, are undeniable protagonists of each piece. This exhibition also features works from her new series in which the predominant use of gold has helped her better convey the vigorous feel essential to her work.
Emerging artist Chung creates a series that is similarly fresh and unconstrained. Fantastical landscapes populated by imagined creatures are the subject of her work. These images, conjured up by her strong imagination, have the power to effectively stimulate and draw in the viewer’s imagination. Her compositions are mainly representational; her use of oil paint is smooth and delicate giving each piece an overall dream-like quality.
