Weeknights, a unique, experimental gallery space in Bushwick, is opening with the inaugural exhibition Friends of Friends on Friday July 13. This group show, comprised of 20 artists fitting small work into less than 200 square feet, will feature a variety of image objects ranging from the subtle, domestic photographs of Julianna Slutsky and Kylen Gillette to the lusciously thick paintings of Nicole Aiello and Theresa Daddezio to humorous anti-art by Andrew Birk and Mark Blumenthal. Join this diverse group of artists and friends for a much anticipated evening celebrating the inception of this new gallery space and all the ambitious work made by established, emerging, and outsider artists alike.
