The artist biography: youme Born:December2,1981 Birthplace:Ishikawa,Japan Hometown:Yokohama city,Kanagawa,Japan
After she graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design in March,2007,youme opened her own art school for kids.
She feels that it is not only important for children to have fun, but also to have an outlet for their creativity.
Currently, youme is also working at a junior high school as an art teacher and a homeroom teacher of the special needs class.
She teaches her students how to think outside of a box and to express themselves by creating something. Through her student’s creations, youme feels that she can experience new things which inspire her to create as well.
youme feels that the purpose behind her art is communication. Although you may not speak the same language with you, please communicate with her through the art and allow it to inspire you! you+me=youme
