Clic is pleased to present an in-store signing of A Portrait of Ice (Damiani, 2012), the newest monograph from photographer Caleb Cain Marcus. An arresting exploration of the glaciers of Patagonia, Iceland, Norway, New Zealand, and Alaska, these painterly ice grey, cobalt, and aquamarine images speak of both the impending melting of our world’s glaciers and the increasing tenuousness of photography as a medium. Three images from the series have already been acquired by the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The signing will take place on September 13th from 6-8 pm.
