Jeremy Hoffeld Let Go: Urgency

November 3rd – December 9th, 2012 Opening Reception: Saturday, November 3rd, 2012 6-9p.m.

A series of densely layered works in oil, acrylic, ink and mixed media that move away from predetermined structure­­– traveling between the abstract and the figurative, the natural/primordial and the synthetic/modern. Multiplicitous color diffuses into pitch and tone built thickly over form until the shapes and spaces underneath are often felt but not seen.
