In Avatar, Auzinger grapples with notions of reality. His video installation plays with depictions of the home in order to call into question those things we have learned to take for granted. The infringement of technology in our lives have made it impossible to distinguish truth from fiction. Auzinger’s piece is an attempt to display these conflicting constructs, juxtaposed into one environment.
