287 Spring is honored to present the first solo New York exhibition of Malcolm D. MacDougall III’s sculpture and prints from Friday, November 9 through Saturday, December 8, 2012. The exhibition features 7 sculptures and 5 lithographs of works completed between the years 2008 and 2012. Malcolm D. MacDougall III: Parallel Worlds elaborates on this young New York artist’s investigation of natural and manmade networks, which become metaphorical landscapes on a large and small scale.
Curated by Beth Gersh-Nesic, Director, New York Arts Exchange
This exhibition coincides with the showing of the artist’s sculpture Microscopic Landscape in New York City’s Union Square Park.
