Brooklyn artist Jill Corson’s photographs of New York City streets reveal her unique manner of seeing and recording our consumer culture. A colorist, Corson creates psychedelic montage in the moment by using reflection in glass to juxtapose pedestrians with window displays outside stores such as Bergdorf Goodman, Calvin Klein, Saks Fifth Avenue and Sigerson Morrison.
Corson will exhibit 26” x 40” digital chromogenic prints and one duratrans lightjet transparency of photographs made in New York City between 1999 and 2005.
